Auto Carpet Dyes

Tips

Colors are matched to original manufactures interior color. You can spot dye a small area or the complete auto carpet. Universal color may match more than one auto interior and can be used to tint the car carpet darker or give your carpet a two-tone effect. The carpet dyes have metallic flakes in them, which reflects light and makes the auto carpet look brighter. They are not recommended for drastic color changes. Please keep the color in the same family.

Before dyeing, clean the car carpet thoroughly and make any repairs necessary. Make sure the auto carpet is completely dry and brush the nap up before applying the carpet dye.

When applying, spray the carpet dye on the surface and lightly brush into the nap covering the tips of the car carpet nap. You only need to apply enough carpet dye to cover the stain. If you apply too much, it will make the auto carpet stiff and hard.
