Selecting the Correct Product for your coloring situation is an easy, 3 step
process:
1. Identify the leather (or vinyl) type. If you need more information on how to identify
your leather type, consult Identifying Leather. The description on each of our product pages
gives the leather type for which the product is appropriate.
The type is particularly relevant to the selection of the dye -- dye
colorant vs. aniline dye. For vinyl, use dye colorant.
2.
Select the color. We
have a wide array of stock colors in our online color charts.
Look up the color as appropriate in the furniture or auto color charts as referenced below. Copy down
the color code and place it in the color box for the selected dye
when ordering.
3. Select the product that matches your
need. Do you have a question on how to handle your particular problem? If
so, we have a helpful section in the online leather manual on
Leather Dyeing .
